short presentation of Musicaglotz,
its
activities
and its goals |
As
long as I can remember I have always been in close touch with
classical artists and most particularly the greatest artists
of our time, both
as a recording producer and as from 1966 as a manager.
Musicaglotz has always had the reputation of helping the artists
reach celebrity, happiness in their profession and what seems
to be supreme for me when you reach the top, the notion of
choice artistically, financially and humanly.
We have always believed contrarily to many other "politically
correct" people that our profession was to create stars
and that the star system was still the good one at the condition
that it would be a procedure of constant renewal, in other
words young artists with big potential will eventually reach
the stature and enjoy the joy of "musical choice".
It is our profession to select the talents, to convince the
sponsors and the musical deciders throughout the world and
to follow strongly the career of the artists.
All will not reach that supreme stature but if one out of
three or four does so, it is worth trying and concentrating
on the selection of young artists and giving them belief,
passion, deep conviction and moral support as well as advice
on their repertoire and on what to accept or not.
This profession has enormously evolved during the last 30
years or so.
After being essentially known for the great number of stars
Musicaglotz was representing, we thought that, as everybody
in life, one has to ask oneself questions and always come
back on the methods, the choices, the real values and apply
it into the daily operations of a Company like ours, be it
by the selection and renewal of the artists or by way of modern
technology.
Internet is, now, giving us the opportunity to explore, in
favor of the artists, the whole world of Music in real time.
This is the reason of the establishment of our Web Site.
Our Site will dispose of a great number of links related to
classical Music, notably societies, theatres, orchestras,
festivals and sponsors which you can use through us if you
have difficulties reaching them directly.
Of course we will be listening to you as we hope you will
be paying attention to our artists.
Everything will go faster but deeper and worldwide.
A famous artist told me once: "our life is like the craftsman's:
it is a day that never ends…"
This is what we are applying to our profession and believe
in.
We
are expecting to hear from you as well as you can expect to
hear from us.
