Valérie Condoluci
Soprano
After a Master in English Literature, the Franco-Italian soprano graduated from the Music Conservatoire in Arras and Paris, winning first prizes in voice and chamber music. She became a member of the Young Artist Program at the Opéra National de Paris and won the prestigious Cercle Carpeaux Prize. She is also the winner of Prix de la Mélodie et Prix de la Ville de Paris.
She has created the part of Faina Ranevskaia in the world premiere of Mantovani’s AKHMATOVA with Janina Baechle at the Paris National Opera. She has sung Nanetta alongside Bryn Terfel in FALSTAFF in Monte Carlo and Sophie with Rolando Villazon in WERTHER with Opéra de Nice. She appears as Mary in Laurent Petitgirard’s much acclaimed JOSEPH MERRICK, DIT ELEPHANT MAN, performed in Nice Opera (DVD available at Naxos).

Valérie is a much sought-after recitalist. She sang the Tribute for Daniel-Lesur at the Opéra Garnier and a Prokovief recital with French actress Françoise Fabian celebrating Anna Akhmatova’s poetry at the Opéra de Paris. She made a nation-wide tour of France with Bachianas Brasileira n°5, a Berlioz recital in Zürich Tonhalle. She regularly sings with Orchestre Philharmonique de Nice performing song cycles under the baton of Maestro Philippe Auguin. She also specializes in Poulenc and French songs repertoire with François Leroux.
In March 2014, she had the immense privilege to be invited at the Opéra Royal du Château de Versailles to sing Chinese art songs for the gala concert in honor of President François Hollande and Xi Jinping President of the People’s Republic of China.
Valérie is passionate about sacred music. She has sung with the Orchestre Philharmonique de Luxembourg, Potsdam Kammerakademie, Concert Lorrain, Orchestre de l’Opéra National de Paris, Orchestre National de Lorraine, Budapest Festival Orchestra, Orchester Jakobsplatz München, Opéra de Nice… She has been working with conductors such as John Nelson, James Conlon, Jan Latham-Koenig, Emmanuel Krivine, Philippe Auguin, Jacques Mercier, Michel Piquemal, Ivan Fischer, Marc Soustrot Laurent Campellone…

She has performed and recorded Paul Ben-Haim’s Kabbalat Shabbat and Lift up your Heads with Orchester Jakobsplatz conducted by Maestro Daniel Grossmann.
