Antoine Morinière

Known as one of the most active guitarists of his generation, Antoine Morinière is invited to perform solo recitals, chamber music, and concertos all over the world. He has appeared in numerous countries including France (Philharmonie de Paris), Canada, Greece, Cyprus, Thailand, China, Nepal, Jordan (Amman Amphitheatre), Turkey, Morocco (Fes Festival of World Sacred Music), England (Wigmore Hall), Ireland, Belgium (BOZAR Festival), Poland, Finland, Estonia, the Netherlands, Portugal (Casa da Música), Romania, Spain (Palau de la Música), Germany (Leipzig BachFest), Italy, Austria, Hungary, Montenegro, Croatia, the Czech Republic, Denmark, and Switzerland.
Throughout his career, Antoine has performed chamber music with exceptional artists such as Thibaut Garcia, Philippe Bernold, Raphaël Sévère, Manon Galy, Marianne Piketty, Fatma Saïd, Hanna Salzenstein, Joséphine Olech, Raphaël Feuillâtre, and Gabriel Bianco.
Interested in contemporary music, he collaborates with several composers including the Japanese composer Rikako Watanabe, Raphaël Sévère, Leo Brouwer, and Jean-Frédéric Neuburger.
Fifteen years ago, Antoine began performing in a guitar duo with Thibaut Garcia. Together they have performed Baroque repertoire by Bach, Couperin, Rameau, and Scarlatti in many concerts. In 2020, they devoted themselves fully to a transcription of the Goldberg Variations for two guitars specially built for the project. The project culminated in a multi-awarded recording, released by Warner in 2025.
Antoine has also launched a new project entitled Labyrinthe Baroque with Iranian mezzo-soprano Anousha Nazari, combining the sounds of Western early music by Handel and Strozzi with Persian poetry by Maraghi and Rumi.
Always in search of new repertoire, Antoine has also begun collaborating with world-music artists such as Sami Yusuf, Ballaké Cissoko, Nabyla Maan, Guo Gan, and José Manuel León, appearing at events such as the Fes Festival of World Sacred Music (Morocco), the Tanweer Festival in Dubai, and at Yenikapı before an audience of 70,000 people.Antoine has won numerous international competitions:
