After ten years of study with Christine Fonlupt at the CRR of Saint-Maur-des-Fossés, Paul Lecocq has been pursuing his training since 2022 at the Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique de Paris, studying with Claire Désert and Romano Pallottini. There, he also deepens his studies in composition, keyboard harmony, analysis, and chamber music. He additionally studies at the Sibelius Academy in Helsinki (Finland), where he benefits from the teaching of Tuija Hakkila during the 2025–2026 academic year.
A passionate chamber musician, he founded the Pierrot Duo with pianist Martin Jaspard and collaborates regularly with cellist Léo Léna. He has also received guidance from distinguished artists such as Elisabeth Leonskaja, Anne Queffélec, François-Frédéric Guy, Bernard d’Ascoli, and the Trio Wanderer.
Involved from childhood with the association Petites Mains Symphoniques, through which he has taken part in more than 150 concerts, Paul Lecocq acquired extensive stage experience at an early age. Open to a wide range of repertoires, he works with contemporary composers including Jörg Widmann, Édith Lejet, and Fabien Touchard. Early music also plays an important role in his artistic life, and he cultivates a dual practice of piano and harpsichord.
